New News Paper

Hey everyone! Here are some of the happenings in Club Penguin coming soon.

The first thing i want to say is clubpenguin didnt write anything about sept. 11.

The new play is a Mystery. You’ll have to pay close attention to the Script and look around in front of you to find clues…

To view the Playbill, go to Page A2 and A3 of the newspaper. Click on the puffle, the manhole, the paint can, and the box, then the Playbill will appear. It looks like a Hollywood detective drama.

Three MAJOR parties on CP are coming soon. This includes the Fall Fair: with special games, prizes, and surprises, the Halloween party: with spooky decorations and free items, and CP’s 3rd Anniversary party: with an nonreturnable party hat!

Soccer Feild Non-Members allowed!

Hello Penguins,

now is your chance! After many Penguin Protests about the soccer feild, they opened it to all penguins! get your chance in there now cause in a few days it wont be there anymore!

Sports Party!!!

The Penguin Games are finally here!
This is the most awsome party in Club Penguin History.
There are three free items you can get, the Blue Face Paint, Red Face Paint, and the Gold Medal.
Red team fans, you can get the red face paint at the Coffee Shop and Blue team fans, you can find the blue face paint at the Pizza Parlor.

To get the gold medal you will have to complete three different events.

1. The Marathon located at the Ski Village.
2. The Three Lap Race located at the Ice Berg.
3. The Freestyle Swim located at the cave.

Once you complete all three of those events you will be able to get the gold medal.

To complete The Marathon, first go to the ski village and stand at the start line, then walk your way down the path being sure to stop at all of the light posts. Once the light post lights up you can start walking again. Make sure to get every one lit! The race ends at the cove, once you get to the finish line you should have the marathon completed.

For the three lap race you will have to go around the Ice Berg three times being sure to stop at the light posts until they light up, much like the marathon. Once you complete three laps you should have that event completed.

Last but not least is the freestyle swim, for this event you will have to go back and forth through the pool at the cave about six times. By now you should have completed all three events and you should be able to claim your prize.


Here is the part i dont like. Club Penguin made a soccer feild but only for members and they took the hocky rink that is for both members and non-members and made it look junky.

Weird Looking name on CP!

Hello Penguins,
Some of you may have noticed penguins with weird characters in their names, well here is how you can do it.

When logging in to your penguin, instead of typing in your real penguin name type in the name with weird characters. For example, instead of me logging in as 10croc, I would log in as 10cróc. Here is how it will look in the game.



Here are some substitute characters that I have found that you can use.
a: â, ã
c: ć, ĉ
e: è, é, ê
i: ì, í, î
n: ñ, ń
o: ó, ô, õ
u: ù, ú, û
There are probably a lot more characters that you can use. Here is a way to find more for Windows users. Go to your start menu, then go to run and type in charmap. From there you will be able to see a bunch of differnt characters.
If you find more characters that you can use, or notice that some of the above characters aren’t working make a comment.

Penguin Mail Update!!!

Hello Penguins!

I hope all of you who received the CPIP Server Test thank you item are enjoying it! There's been a lot of talk recently about the release of the new features and I want to give you an update on all of them, but to make it easier, we're going to focus on one per post.

First--and the feature I'm most excited about--is Penguin Mail. A couple of weeks ago I talked briefly about an update to the postcard system. If you missed that post, you can check it out in the archives of this blog.

The CP team has been working really hard on this feature.

Here's the logo they're playing with.

It will also be way easier because you be able to send buddies a postcard even if they are not logged in, and you'll also be able to delete and SAVE your mail.

As always, we would love to know what you think. So keep up the feedback--it helps a lot!
